ABS Kids is looking for a Scheduling Supervisor to join our team! The Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the scheduling function including implementing effective Scheduling processes across multiple markets and enforcing policies and procedures.

What would you do?

• Partner with operational leadership to develop new strategies and approaches for optimizing Scheduling processes
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through team building, consistent accountability, and clear communication of work standards
• Partner with the Director of Scheduling to identify opportunities for team improvement and innovation, remove barriers and resistance to change and promote constructive teamwork and communication
• Schedule, assign, and monitor staff assignments to promote efficiency and to ensure that adequate coverage is maintained
• Receive and respond to patient communications related to scheduling, if needed
• Evaluate employee performance and provide appropriate guidance, professional development, and constructive feedback
• Provide effective leadership to the Scheduling staff members in a remote and office-based environment as needed
• Ensure that performance standards are well defined and achieved
• Ensure that all schedules are completed in accordance with established standards
• Provide exceptional leadership and strive to exceed operational and team goals
• Interview, hire, and facilitate training for all department personnel
• Initiate disciplinary proceedings as required
• Provide consistent coaching and mentoring to lead schedulers
• Effectively and proactively manage relationships with clinical providers
• Oversee the lead caseload coordinator for each region to ensure optimization and standardization of procedures
• Adhere to federal HIPAA regulations, as well as any company policies and procedures

Who are we looking for?

• High school diploma or GED
• A minimum of 2 years of scheduling and/or intake experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Proven ability to work with a diverse group of people, including support staff, coworkers, management, leadership
• Demonstrated ability to research issues and bring about resolution either directly or with the assistance of others
• Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills to build and foster effective relationships
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to help ensure successful partnerships and department quality
• Must possess strong leadership qualities, trustworthiness and a teamwork mentality
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, while keeping in mind ABS Kids Scheduling goals
• Strong documentation skills with a high attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft products
